Winter League

Dates: January 7th - March 11th 2023

9 weeks *no classes Family Day Long Weekend Feb. 18th 

Join the Soccer Tots team for Winter League where we learn the foundations of sport through games, fitness and soccer skills. Each week our coaches will guide your child through a 30-45 min class focused on

  • learning in a group setting
  • team work (cheering & high fives included)
  • the basics of athlete development: running, jumping, twisting, kicking, throwing & catching 
  • making friends & having fun.

Parent Participation required for our 1-2.5 Y class (name this group??).For age groups (2.5+) parents are encouraged to cheer from the sidelines and assist their child when a game/skill is difficult or during water breaks.

Please note this is a NON-COMPETITIVE league, where repetition and fun are emphasized to help your child build confidence in a variety of skills that will help them develop as an athlete. Our program helps your child develop a sense of community and incrementally builds upon skills they learn in each class with their new friends by their side.

Registration includes: 9 weekly classes, 1 soccer ball to keep, award ceremony & certificate on the last day of classes

  • Mount Pleasant Winter League: Robson Park
  • Kitsilano Winter League: Kits Beach Grass (next to playground)

What to bring: Please ensure your child is dressed for Vancouver winter weather. Warm layers underneath a water proof jacket, toque and warm socks are important. Gloves if they keep them on their hands.

Water bottle & easy to access snacks during water breaks. Please also bring your soccer ball with you to each class.

League registrants are to participate for all 9 Saturday sessions from January 7-March 11 2022. No refunds or make-up classes once registration is made. 

Family Discount: if signing up more than 1 child, a 10% discount is applied to your purchase. Registration must be made in the same transaction.
